LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio) is an American professional basketball player widely regarded as one of the greatest in NBA history. A product of St. Vincent–St. Mary High School, he was selected first overall in the 2003 NBA Draft and has starred for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers. Known for his combination of size, skill, and basketball IQ, LeBron has won multiple NBA championships and MVP awards and is a perennial All-Star and leader on and off the court.
